It is great to be a Florida Gator and even better to be a Colorado State Ram (or so I think). The Gators won and Colorado State beat Colorado in Colorado's stadium for the first time in 23 years. The last time CSU won the match up as an away game was on the same date(9/6) in 1986-wow!
Needless to say I love my Rams.
I hope that all of you enjoyed the long weekend and took some time to do something fun.
Here is what our week looks like:
Monday:
- Off for Labor day
Tuesday:
- FAIR testing begins K-12
- PKYPTO meet and greet meeting 5:30pm Community Classroom.
Wednesday:
- 4th grade Wacky Wednesday
- Kagan 3-4:30pm. I am working on a meeting schedule based on feedback from lead team and I will send it to you shortly with the entire year's meeting schedule.
Thursday:
- 5:30-7:30pm elementary open house-please send out reminders and have parents come to the PAC at 5:30pm not classrooms. Teachers you also need to be at the PAC by 5:25pm.
- Open house schedule: 5:30-6:10 PAC/6:15-6:45 rotation one/6:50-7:20 rotation two
- 7:30pm 5th grade Patrol meeting
Friday:
- I will be at Camp Kulaqua with the 12th grade.
Coming Soon/announcements:
- 9/15 SAC (school advisory council)meeting
- 9/18 K-5 SST (student success team) meetings
- Please send home picture day flyers. We are able to keep our dates.
- Emergency sub plans-please email Ellen and I the location of your emergency sub plans. These should be a week's worth of plans.
- Remember to keep your doors locked and shut at all times.
- Please remember to document your use of Kagan structures and to bring your logs with you to Kagan training this week.
- For safety please remember to send students in pairs to use the restroom or to anywhere else that they may need to go (library, nurse etc.)

- Happy Birthday to: Carrie Kelsey 9/8 (performing arts department) and Stephanie Johnson 9/10 ( Miss Krank's teaching assistant)!!!
